Book keeping is a vital part of any business. However, we understand that this can be a laborious task that takes up precious time that could be spent on other aspects of your business. We provide a service that includes:

We can calculate your VAT and file your return quarterly for you to ensure that you meet the submission deadline. At the same time a quarterly report is compiled that can form part of your Management Reporting.
Payroll can be a time consuming task for a business of any size and the challenges of Payroll, especially with the introduction of RTI reporting and Auto Enrolment Pensions, can be intimidating. Our Payroll service is available as a weekly, fortnightly, monthly or four weekly service, dependent upon your business’s requirements.

We offer a range of Company Secretarial services which range from the initial Company Formation, change of office address or Director’s address, the transfer and division of shares, through to reconstructing Company Records and Registers.
We provide a service whereby we examine the Accounts of Not for Profit organisations to ensure that members of the organisation and other Stakeholders (funders, donors) have peace of mind that the organisation’s finances are being managed. Once examined, these Accounts can be presented to the Trustees or Members, or if required submitted to the Charities Commission.
Whether needed for Management Information on a quarterly basis, for use with a Self-Assessment Tax Return, or as part of a Limited Company’s Statutory Accounts, we can provide the right level of detail for your needs. A business will often need background information during the year, to keep it on track for targets, or just as importantly avoid possible headaches later. We can help monitor expenditure, keeping your business efficient. A smaller business owner will need the accurate accounting information for the completion of their Self-Assessment Tax Return. More detailed Annual Accounts must be prepared for Limited Companies and submitted with Company Tax Returns and Corporation Tax calculations. Minerva can prepare and submit these in addition to the Accounts required by Companies House.
Minerva can use the information from your accounts to complete an Individual’s Self-Assessment Tax Return or Company Tax Return for Corporation Tax purposes. By keeping up to date in tax we avoid the pitfalls, making sure you pay exactly the correct amount of tax due on your business activities.
